Frugal Innovation Forum 2025 Website Development

Project Overview

3DEVs IT Ltd. designed, developed, and deployed the official website for the Frugal Innovation Forum (FIF) 2025, hosted under BRAC’s Social Innovation Lab platform. The website was developed to provide an engaging digital presence for one of Bangladesh’s leading innovation forums, focused on agriculture, food security, livelihoods, and climate change.

The platform combines event promotion, registration, ticketing, speaker and agenda management, accessibility, and content management into a single, scalable digital solution.

Background

BRAC has organized the Frugal Innovation Forum annually since 2013 to bring together innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and development practitioners to address key global and local challenges.

The 2025 edition of the forum focused on the theme of agriculture, food security, and livelihoods in the context of climate change. To support this major event, BRAC required a dedicated website integrated with the existing Social Innovation Lab platform that would:

  • Promote the event and attract participants
  • Enable online registration and ticket purchase
  • Showcase speakers, agenda, and resources
  • Provide a modern, accessible, and mobile-friendly user experience
  • Allow BRAC teams to independently manage and update content

The project was delivered within a short timeline while maintaining strong standards for performance, accessibility, security, and scalability.

Business Challenges

Before development of the website, BRAC faced several challenges:
